We have the widespread Russian legend telling that English people prefer oatmeal porridge for breakfast. We adore reading The Adventures of Sharlock Holmes and if you ask a Russian man or woman: “What is served for breakfast in Baskerville Hall?” you are certain to hear, “Oatmeal porridge, sir!”:)
